The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson throws a leg kick which misses Mason's front leg but catches the back leg as Mason tries to avoid it.
Mason moves out of range as Swanson strikes.
Swanson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Swanson moves out of range of the leg kick from Mason.
A little feinted left hand from Swanson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mason gets the takedown into side control.
Swanson is not content to let Mason control the position.
Swanson can't do much from the bottom here.
Mason is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Swanson is trying to escape and Mason transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Swanson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mason! Very nice indeed!
