The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivas throws a head kick that misses.
Octavius misses the shot to the body.

Octavius changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rivas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Rivas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rivas parries the strikes from Octavius easily there. Octavius is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rivas to escape.
Octavius scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rivas to see if he's OK.
