Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obel Ixtlan (ranked 833 p4p, 1820 weight class) and Ray Dalio (ranked 113 p4p, 225 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalio takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dalio scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Dalio is looking for a kimura but Ixtlan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dalio to get the leverage.
Dalio wants to pass to mount but Ixtlan is defending the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Obel Ixtlan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Dalio.
Donk. Ixtlan catches Dalio right on the button with a cross.
Dalio shoots for a double leg takedown but Ixtlan sprawls well. He's pushed Dalio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dalio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ixtlan to the mat! Ixtlan manages to get full guard.
Ixtlan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dalio can do to turn this around?

I really don't envy Ixtlan right now.
