Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Kerr (ranked 471 p4p, 101 weight class) and Maro Pjetlic (ranked 70 p4p, 16 weight class). Pjetlic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Legend. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marko Kerr!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Maro Pjetlic!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Pjetlic misses its intended target.
Kerr ducks right into an uppercut from Pjetlic.
Pjetlic lands a head shot.
Kerr has closed the distance and engaged Pjetlic in a clinch.
Pjetlic works on Kerr's body with a couple of short punches.
Kerr has a couple of punches blocked by Pjetlic.
Pjetlic is working Kerr over against the cage.
Pjetlic lands with a right to the head.
Kerr's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Pjetlic works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kerr prevents a body shot from Pjetlic.
Pjetlic lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kerr backwards.
Pjetlic works on Kerr's body with a couple of short punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kerr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pjetlic walks away with a smile on his face. Kerr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pjetlic scores with a jab to the body.
Kerr is breathing heavily.
Pjetlic drops Kerr with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kerr looks back up at him and smiles so Pjetlic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kerr slips under a jab.
Kerr attempts a counter takedown but Pjetlic avoids it well and moves away.
Pjetlic throws an overhand right that lands on Kerr's shoulder, as Kerr tries to avoid the shot.
Kerr drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pjetlic sprawls and moves away.
Kerr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pjetlic.
Pjetlic lands a big uppercut and Kerr crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kerr looks OK. Pjetlic waves Kerr back to his feet!
Kerr is rocked!
Kerr has been working on his balance at Island project, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Pjetlic.
Kerr backs away from a small jab... but Pjetlic lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Kerr crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Pjetlic with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Maro Pjetlic! Maro Pjetlic retains his heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Maro Pjetlic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
