The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elkhan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Elkhan! But no joy.
Jackson misses with a body shot
and Elkhan counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Wayne Frank Jackson has been cut.
Elkhan throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jackson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Elkhan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Elkhan slips the punch.
Jackson misses with a leg kick.

Jackson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jackson throws a leg kick which misses Elkhan's front leg but catches the back leg as Elkhan tries to avoid it.

Jackson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Elkhan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

A telegraphed right hand from Elkhan misses the target.
Elkhan throws the left hand but Jackson avoids the punch easily.
Jackson jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Jackson rushes Elkhan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Elkhan misses with the head strike.
Elkhan lands a body shot in the clinch.
Elkhan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Elkhan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jackson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Elkhan digs a right hand underneath Jackson's ribcage. Jackson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Elkhan can't find room to land a body shot as Jackson controls the action.

I was talking to Jackson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson throws a punch but it's blocked by Elkhan.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Elkhan.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jackson wants to break the clinch but can't.

Elkhan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
Elkhan blocks an uppercut.
Elkhan pushes Jackson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Elkhan lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Wayne Frank Jackson's cut is getting worse.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Elkhan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Jackson is rocked!
Elkhan pushes Jackson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Elkhan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jackson.
Elkhan lands with a short shot to the head.
Elkhan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Jackson with a big uppercut! Jackson tries to clinch up but Elkhan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Jackson to the mat! Jackson covers up and Elkhan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
