PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chester Bing (ranked 4007 p4p, 6201 weight class) and Corey Plowman (ranked 526 p4p, 637 weight class). Plowman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Outkast - B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad). On his way into the cage it seems that Chester Bing has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chester Bing seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chester Bing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Plowman!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Bing or perhaps it was just good defense by Plowman, which made it look bad.
Plowman lands a really nice looking cross but Bing seems unphased.

It looks like Chester Bing has been cut.

Plowman cracks Bing with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Plowman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bing to stand back up!

Bing is rocked!
Plowman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Plowman lands a big right hand that sends Bing crashing to the mat! Plowman stays standing though and waves Bing back to his feet!
Oh Bing is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bing drives through with a takedown into Plowman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Plowman being controlled here, momentarily.
Plowman has his hands on Bing's head, controlling the position.
Bing seems to have got his legs back now.
Plowman's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bing stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Plowman drops Bing with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bing looks back up at him and smiles so Plowman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bing defending well as Plowman loads up on a big left hand.
Bing appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Plowman goes for a small jab and connects. Now Plowman goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Bing stumbles back but Plowman runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Bing to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Bing will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Corey Plowman!
