Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Werdum (ranked 2502 p4p, 2262 weight class) and Maxim Volkov (ranked 326 p4p, 301 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Volkov feints and as Werdum raises his hands in defense, Volkov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Werdum holds on and takes a little breather.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
