Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barnes (ranked 2218 p4p, 2106 weight class) and Riyu Mendes (ranked 285 p4p, 276 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Riyu Mendes!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mendes. That did some damage!
Bob Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barnes takes a swing at Mendes's ribcage but misses.
Mendes slips a straight right by Barnes.
Mendes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barnes on the side of the head.

Barnes feints and then cracks Mendes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendes down.

Mendes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barnes walks away with a smile on his face. Mendes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mendes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Oh Barnes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barnes gets underhooks to prevent Mendes's takedown attempt.

Barnes tries to circle away but Mendes has him pinned against the cage.
