Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Peterson (ranked 24261 p4p, 5651 weight class) and Boof Two (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Peterson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boof Two!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Two dives in and grabs Peterson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Peterson pushes down on Two's head and hops out.
Peterson throws a series of punches but Two moves out of range.
No joy there for Peterson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Two drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Peterson defends it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Peterson. Two does a little dance to reset his feet.
Two tries to counter with a clinch but Peterson shakes him off and moves away.
Peterson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Peterson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Peterson misses with a wild body shot.
Peterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Peterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Peterson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Two is trying to defend but Peterson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Two has one foot on Peterson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Peterson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Two defends it nicely.

Peterson is breathing heavily.

Two is pulling down on Peterson's head. It's preventing any offense from Peterson, at least for the moment.
Peterson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Two is looking for a triangle but Peterson pushes his legs off easily.

Peterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Two has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peterson has managed to get both his arms back between Two's legs - danger averted.

Peterson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Two shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peterson sprawls well. Peterson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Two gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jake Peterson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boof Two is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Boof Two.
I've got Two winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
