Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Money Support!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Hall.
Support darts in looking for a takedown but Hall gets double underhooks and turns Support into the cage.
Support misses with a body shot.
Support has a takedown stuffed.
Support dives in for a single leg takedown but Hall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Brian Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Money Support.

Hall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall stalling.
Hall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Hall seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Support for as long as he can get away with.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hall lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hall looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Still in half guard, Hall seems content to control.
Support really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Support on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Hall lands strikes from half guard.
Hall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Support looking for submissions off his back.
Nice strikes from Hall there.

Hall performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Support wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Support tries to keep at a distance but Hall has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hall misses with a body punch.

Hall has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Support regains guard immediately.
Hall works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hall sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Hall swinging wildly here.
And Support tries to counter it with a takedown but Hall pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hall misses with a body shot.
Hall digs a good hook to Support's body.
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hall moves into the clinch successfully.
Support trying to control the position but instead, Hall has worked for underhooks and has pushed Support into the cage.
Hall tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Support's elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall prevents Support from breaking the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hall creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Support blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Support is trying to stall.

Hall has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Support regains guard immediately.
Hall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Support is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hall slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hall lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hall distracts Support with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hall working some strikes from top position.
Support can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hall controls the pace.
Hall passes Support's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hall scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Hall lands strikes from half guard.
Hall working the head and body with strikes.
Support is in trouble now - Hall has advanced to mount!
Hall takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BOOM! Hall connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Support is in a horrible position here. Hall smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hall lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Support in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Support is breathing heavily.
Hall working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Support is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall controlling his opponent.
Support is still in real trouble! Can Hall finish him?
Hall with a couple of short strikes.
Hall unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Support wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hall celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
