Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benedito Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and demian maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from maia.
maia looks to score with a jab to the body but Alves is just out of range.
Alves shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Alves shoots in and drives through. maia sprawls well.
maia takes a swing at Alves's ribcage but misses.

Alves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
