Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igla Chlen (ranked 729 p4p, 753 weight class) and Thor Hammer (ranked 108 p4p, 111 weight class). Chlen's entrance music is . A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

and Hammer counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Igla Chlen has been cut.
Chlen looks to throw the jab but Hammer is out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chlen takes a swing at Hammer's ribcage but misses.

Chlen darts in and clinches Hammer up against the cage.

Chlen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Chlen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hammer is defending well for now.

Chlen sends Hammer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chlen is motioning to the referee to let Hammer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Chlen counters with a right hand to the body.
Hammer looks winded!
Chlen is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hammer flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hammer is out cold! Chlen holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
