Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cajetan Shashi (ranked 3666 p4p, 3540 weight class) and Ram Rocker (ranked 449 p4p, 440 weight class). Rocker has chosen Feuer Frei! as his entrance music. Ram Rocker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cajetan Shashi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cajetan Shashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ram Rocker!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shashi misses with a head kick.
Rocker looks to score with a jab to the body but Shashi is just out of range.
Shashi tries to clinch but Rocker moves away
and Rocker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rocker missing with a left hand there. Shashi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shashi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rocker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Shashi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rocker.

Shashi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rocker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice side step and Rocker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Shashi rushes Rocker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rocker. Shashi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rocker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Shashi throws a head kick but Rocker moves out of range.
Rocker loads up on a big right hand but Shashi slips the punch.

It seemed like Rocker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Shashi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rocker swivels and escapes.

Shashi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rocker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Ram Rocker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rocker takes a swing at Shashi's ribcage but misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shashi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rocker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rocker lands a nice shot to the body.
Rocker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shashi manages to avoid it.
Rocker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shashi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Rocker lands a nice hook to Shashi's body. Shashi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rocker's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shashi under the eye.
Rocker keeps the fight on the outside.
Shashi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rocker.
Shashi misses with a head kick.
Shashi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Shashi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rocker on his heels. He'll look to pass Rocker's guard now, I'm sure.
Rocker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Shashi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rocker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shashi, into his guard.


Shashi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rocker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rocker stays in close to Shashi's body and controls the position.

Shashi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rocker defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rocker is in close to Shashi's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shashi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rocker is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

enabling Rocker to counter with a crisp jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rocker.
Rocker misses with an uppercut. Shashi saw that one coming.

Rocker looks to land a left hand but Shashi moved out of range nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shashi, as that shot connected.

Shashi looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rocker throws an overhand right that drops Shashi like a sack of potatoes! Rocker dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Ram Rocker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
