Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Storm (ranked 5925 p4p, 4391 weight class) and Xander Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Xander Montgomery was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Storm is defended easily by Montgomery.

Montgomery shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Storm is trying to defend but Montgomery finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Montgomery is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Storm won't allow Montgomery to pass to mount.

Montgomery is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Storm is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Storm flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Montgomery anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Storm and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Montgomery slips an arm under Storm chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Montgomery has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Montgomery is squeezing on Storm like an anaconda would it's prey. Storm fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
