The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bokhchuud. That's going to slow Andersson down.
Bokhchuud connects with a high kick.

Bokhchuud has managed to clinch.
Andersson has Bokhchuud pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bokhchuud manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Andersson is trying to drag Bokhchuud to the mat but Bokhchuud just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

I was talking to Bokhchuud's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bokhchuud has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Andersson goes down! Bokhchuud dives on top of him - Andersson manages to get guard.

Andersson seems to have recovered his senses.
Andersson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
