Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Spivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and striped cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). cat has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Dewayne Spivey has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cat throws the left hand but Spivey avoids the punch easily.
cat looks gassed!
Spivey looks for a takedown but cat sprawls well.
Spivey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts cat as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by Spivey or perhaps it was just good defense by cat which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dewayne Spivey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spivey shoots for a takedown but cat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Spivey wants to clinch up but cat keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spivey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around cat's waist but cat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Spivey off to one side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
