Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mew Choo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stan Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Shamrock seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Shamrock might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shamrock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Choo manages to avoid it.

Choo jumps guard and drags Shamrock to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Choo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shamrock is aware though and is defending well.
Stan Shamrock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Choo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Shamrock is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Choo.
Choo is looking for a sweep.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Shamrock remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Mew Choo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Shamrock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
