The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sam scores with a one two! Davidson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sam comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Davidson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davidson lands in his opponent's guard.

Sam has his feet on Davidson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davidson gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Sam clinches up with Davidson and pushes him back against the cage.

Sam scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Davidson rushes Sam and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Davidson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sam smiles and moves away.
Sam lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Davidson is rocked!

Sam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davidson pinned against the cage. Davidson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sam lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Davidson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Davidson moves into the clinch.
Sam blocks a body shot from Davidson.

Sam breaks from the clinch.
Davidson misses with a takedown attempt - Sam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Sam tries to close the distance and clinch but Davidson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sam moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Davidson drives through and clinches with Sam against the cage.
Sam lands with a left to the head.
Davidson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dean Sam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Davidson.
Sam wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Davidson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Sam lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sam works the jab nicely.
Sam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davidson circles away quickly and effectively.

Sam drops Davidson with a beautiful combination! Davidson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sam is looking for the KO!
Davidson is still on wobbly legs! Can Sam finish him?
Davidson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Davidson looks to land a combination but Sam avoids it well.

Davidson drops his hands momentarily and Sam needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Davidson just on the top of the head. Davidson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Davidson - he's done!
