Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Baim Wong (ranked 4824 p4p, 4870 weight class) and Brent Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong avoids the body shot from Fields.
Wong feinted with a counter takedown.
Wong shoots in looking for a takedown. Fields tries to sprawl out of it but Wong keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fields manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fields misses with a wild body shot.

Wong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fields napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fields, who protects the arm well.
Wong fails to land a wild elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fields is not content to let Wong control the position.
Wong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fields is looking for a sweep.
Wong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fields keeps working.
Wong tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Fields is trying to improve his position.

Wong is trying to get an arm triangle but Fields is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fields can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fields has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wong tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Fields is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wong shoots in for a takedown but Fields shows good takedown defense.
A little jabbing left from Fields on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Fields showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wong.
Fields cracks a nice hook into Wong's ribs.
Wong is breathing heavily.
Wong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fields pinned against the cage. Fields gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fields tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wong was well out of range. Poor timing from Fields.
Brent Fields is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fields sends Wong crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fields is motioning to the referee to let Wong up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Fields fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oh Wong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fields is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wong rather than just go for the knockout.
Fields knocks out Wong with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Fields before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Fields picks up the big W with a huge KO!
