Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between AJ Gardener (ranked 6303 p4p, 6272 weight class) and Rudy Loens (ranked 458 p4p, 457 weight class). Gardener kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Central Cee - Loading. Loens has chosen MMA Entrance Music / Justin Gaethje as his entrance music. AJ Gardener could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rudy Loens's chin.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loens clinches with his opponent.
Loens wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Loens jumps into guard, dragging Gardener to the mat.
Gardener really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gardener throwing strikes but missing.
Gardener lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Gardener stopping the sweep attempt from Loens.
Loens working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gardener.

Loens tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gardener postures up and lands a big shot to Loens's brow.

Gardener lands a couple of elbows.
Loens is still in real trouble! Can Gardener finish him?
Gardener is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Gardener loads up on a big left hand. Loens felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gardener looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Loens can't hide his disappointment, as Gardener celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). AJ Gardener!
AJ Gardener took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Let's go, I want a ranked opponent next.'.
Rudy Loens was interviewed post fight and said 'Despite my loss against an opponent who was tonight better as me a big thanks to the Highland organisation for having the chance fighting here tonight.Also a big thanks on the great fans and public supporting me.Thanks again and i'll be back !'.
