The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ball sprawls well. Ball wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos gets slowly back to his feet.
Ball attempts a counter takedown but Santos avoids it well and moves away.
Ball plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ball scores with a head kick. Santos tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Ball thows a body kick. Santos tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A head kick from Ball lands but Santos takes it in his stride.

Santos shoots in for a takedown but Ball shows good takedown defense.
Alphonzo Ball seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
