Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Jammer (ranked 3716 p4p, 3640 weight class) and Ewan Nelson (ranked 464 p4p, 458 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Nelson stalling away here and it's allowed Jammer to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jammer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nelson's guard.

Nelson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jammer is working away from the top position though.

Nelson is trying to maintain the position but Jammer is very close to passing his half guard.

Jammer is nestled in close to Nelson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jammer slips a nice elbow through Nelson's hands, connecting with Nelson's forehead.
