Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bartem Lvov (ranked 3141 p4p, 4817 weight class) and Halt Warris (ranked 0 p4p, 51 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warris fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Warris closes the distance and clinches.
Lvov stalling in the clinch but Warris improves position.
Warris has Lvov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lvov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lvov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Warris just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lvov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Warris pulls his leg out and moves away.

Lvov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Warris tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lvov defends well and Warris ends up having to push Lvov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Warris has hold of one of Lvov's legs. Lvov is fighting the takedown attempt but Warris gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

and Warris counters with a crisp one two that drops Lvov! Warris thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lvov to his feet! Lvov is in big trouble!

Warris seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lvov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Warris's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Warris's back!

Warris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warris showed some decent athleticism there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lvov is not content to let Warris control the position.
Lvov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Warris scores with a couple of nice shots.

Warris decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Halt Warris seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Warris gets to mount! Lvov was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Lvov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Warris postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lvov looks a forlorn figure.
Lvov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Warris is taking a breather. Lvov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Warris is looking to take a break and control but Lvov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Warris is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Well Warris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
