PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alec Kemp (ranked 23534 p4p, 6742 weight class) and Reza Khojastehpour (ranked 314 p4p, 290 weight class). Kemp comes to the cage accompanied by Ghostbusters. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alec Kemp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Reza Khojastehpour!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khojastehpour throws a series of punches but Kemp avoids them all with ease.
Khojastehpour throws a sloppy head kick and Kemp moves out of range easily.

Khojastehpour decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Khojastehpour is controlling the pace.
Kemp wants to control but Khojastehpour is keeping busy.

Khojastehpour seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Khojastehpour shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kemp eats them both and turns towards Khojastehpour to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Well Khojastehpour has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
