Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Mckenzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Antonio Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mckenzi closes the distance and clinches.
Oliveira blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mckenzi with a knee to the head.
Oliveira fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Oliveira drags the fight down to the ground.
Mckenzi wants to get up but he can't break Oliveira's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mckenzi stands and steps away. Oliveira gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Oliveira moves into range and clinches up with Mckenzi.
Mckenzi with a knee to the head.
Oliveira managing to block the knees to the body from Mckenzi.
Oliveira fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Oliveira successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oliveira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mckenzi defends well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oliveira has his foot on Mckenzi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mckenzi works his way back into a safe position though.

Oliveira had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mckenzi defends it easily.

Mckenzi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oliveira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mckenzi has managed to get both his arms back between Oliveira's legs - danger averted.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Oliveira is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mckenzi is aware though and is defending well.

Oliveira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mckenzi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Oliveira is tightening it up a little... Mckenzi has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mckenzi reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mckenzi taps out! Nice BJJ there by Oliveira!
