Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Objedkov (ranked 488 p4p, 629 weight class) and Stupid Tattoo Guy (ranked 31 p4p, 40 weight class). Stupid Tattoo Guy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Objedkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stupid Tattoo Guy!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tattoo Guy moves into the clinch.
The referee calls for Tattoo Guy to work.
A short right from Objedkov on the inside.
Tattoo Guy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Objedkov.
Tattoo Guy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tattoo Guy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Objedkov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Objedkov has Tattoo Guy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tattoo Guy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Objedkov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sergey Objedkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Objedkov wants to take the fight to the mat but Tattoo Guy manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Tattoo Guy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Objedkov's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Objedkov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tattoo Guy manages to avoid it.

Tattoo Guy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Objedkov on his heels. He'll look to pass Objedkov's guard now, I'm sure.

Tattoo Guy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Objedkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tattoo Guy has managed to get both his arms back between Objedkov's legs - danger averted.
Tattoo Guy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Tattoo Guy wants to stand and escape but instead Objedkov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Objedkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tattoo Guy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Objedkov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Tattoo Guy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Objedkov is one step ahead there.
Objedkov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've been hearing that Objedkov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Objedkov postures up in Tattoo Guy's guard and throws a big left but Tattoo Guy blocks it.

Objedkov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Objedkov is in a horrible position here. Tattoo Guy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Objedkov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tattoo Guy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tattoo Guy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Objedkov in real trouble here! The ref calls for Objedkov to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

After the fight, Stupid Tattoo Guy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
