PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Pusher (ranked 6179 p4p, 5935 weight class) and Felix Cartier (ranked 580 p4p, 563 weight class). Pusher comes into the arena with Techno Syndrome blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Pusher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Felix Cartier!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pusher went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Pusher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cartier.

Cartier tries to sprawl but Pusher drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pusher missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Pusher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pusher wants to pass to mount but Cartier is defending the position.
Pusher is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cartier!
Pusher lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cartier is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Pusher has hold of Cartier's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cartier manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pusher is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cartier is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cartier flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Pusher anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cartier and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Pusher slips an arm under Cartier chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Pusher has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Pusher is squeezing on Cartier like an anaconda would it's prey. Cartier fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Robert Pusher!
A very excited looking Robert Pusher rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
