Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Green (ranked 477 p4p, 1893 weight class) and Rob Cervantes (ranked 61 p4p, 245 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cervantes's guard.
Green wants to pass the guard but Cervantes is keeping the position.
Green is working hard here to advance position.
Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Cervantes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cervantes is looking for a triangle but Green pushes his legs off easily.

Cervantes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Green doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Green has an Americana. Cervantes didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Green is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Green hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
