The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Brisson catches Hoxha right on the button with a cross.
Hoxha is looking to clinch but Brisson is avoiding it.
Hoxha cracks a nice hook into Brisson's ribs.
Hoxha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hoxha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brisson throws out the jab.

Hoxha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hoxha wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hoxha has had enough of the clinch but Brisson keeps him there for the moment.

Brisson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Brisson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hoxha takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nicholas Brisson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brisson connects with a nice looking jab.
Brisson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hoxha doesn't seem bothered though.
Brisson avoids the head kick by Hoxha.
Brisson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

and Brisson counters with a nice right hand that sends Hoxha toppling to the canvas! Hoxha scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Brisson finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoxha gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Brisson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A less than humble Nicholas Brisson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
