The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viking misses with a hook. Spanner ducked under it nicely.
As Viking backs away, Spanner returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
A nice leg kick from Spanner, right into the meat of the thigh.
Viking connects with the punch.

It looks like Bleeding Spanner has been cut.

Viking walks forward, straight into a front kick from Spanner.
Techno Viking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Viking gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Spanner counters with a straight right hand.
Donk. Spanner catches Viking right on the button with a cross.
Spanner moves away from the strike by Viking.
Viking throws the left hand but Spanner avoids the punch easily.
Viking keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Viking replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Spanner blocks it well.

Spanner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Viking in his tracks.
Spanner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spanner loads up on a big right hand but Viking slips the punch.
Spanner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Viking.
Viking cracks Spanner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Spanner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Spanner scores with a one two! Viking had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Viking feints a counter leg kick.

Viking thuds his right hand into Spanner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Viking throws a hook but Spanner blocks it.
Spanner throws a body punch but Viking moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Viking! But no joy.
Viking throws out a powerful jab.
Spanner tries to move into range but Viking moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Spanner counters with a nice right hand that sends Viking toppling to the canvas! Viking scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Spanner finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Spanner counters with a crisp right that sends Viking to the canvas! Spanner follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
