The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Christenson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Christenson shoots in but no luck this time.

With the fighters up against the cage, Scott throws an elbow but misses.
Scott misses with an elbow over the top.
Scott lands an elbow that stopped Christenson in his tracks for a moment.

Christenson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Christenson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Scott did well to prevent Christenson getting side control.
Scott tries to kick Christenson off in order to stand up. Christenson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Scott is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
