Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Sova (ranked 4692 p4p, 4924 weight class) and Juthro Bonanzes (ranked 584 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Juthro Bonanzes!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonanzes pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bonanzes dives in and scores a takedown into Sova's guard.
Bonanzes tries to free his leg and advance position but Sova is retaining full guard.
Bonanzes pushes down on Sova's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Sova trying to hold on to Bonanzes's head to control him but Bonanzes postures up.
Sova is looking for a sweep. Bonanzes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonanzes performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
It looks like Bonanzes might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Sova tries to pull guard but Bonanzes holds him up against the cage and eventually Sova drops back down to his feet.

Bonanzes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sova is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sova has escaped and now he's on top!

Bonanzes wants to stand but Sova is controlling the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sova trying to control but Bonanzes is working from the bottom.

Bonanzes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sova can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bonanzes has his hands on Sova's head, controlling the position.

That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Bonanzes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sova.
Sova shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonanzes tries to sprawl out of it but Sova keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonanzes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And Bonanzes tries to counter it with a takedown but Sova pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Sova dives in and grabs Bonanzes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bonanzes pushes down on Sova's head and hops out.

Bonanzes is thwarting Sova's attempts to control the position.

Bonanzes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sova is just riding it out for now. Bonanzes eventually gives up the hold.

Well Bonanzes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
