Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Cudlitz (ranked 4798 p4p, 5022 weight class) and Coon Cunnig (ranked 619 p4p, 630 weight class). Cunnig has chosen Bring Me Back To Life as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cudlitz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cunnig quickly recovers to half guard.
Cunnig is trying to get back to full guard.
Cudlitz controlling the action here.
Cunnig is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cudlitz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cunnig is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cudlitz scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cudlitz wants to free his trapped foot but Cunnig is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Cudlitz moves into full mount! Cunnig won't be happy about that!
Cunnig tries to reverse the position but Cudlitz maintains control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cudlitz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cudlitz breaks from Cunnig's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Cunnig is rocked!
Cunnig looks winded!
A big strike lands for Cudlitz! That's really hurt Cunnig and he's turned his back - Cudlitz keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Cudlitz jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Cudlitz!
