Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutas Maximus (ranked 5690 p4p, 25359 weight class) and Mysterious Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brutas Maximus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mysterious Mike!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus has managed to clinch.
Mike misses with some punches.
Mike jumps into guard, dragging Maximus to the mat.
Mike is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maximus defends well.
Mike trying to keep a closed guard but Maximus is proving a slippery customer.
Mike wants to sweep but no luck.
Mike wriggles free and stands up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maximus gets tackled into the cage by Mike. Mike maintains the clinch.
Mike wants to take the fight to the mat but Maximus manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Maximus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Maximus closes the distance and clinches up with Mike, looking for a takedown. Maximus pushes Mike against the cage but Mike circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Maximus or perhaps it was just good defense by Mike, which made it look bad.

Mike darts in looking for a takedown but Maximus gets double underhooks and turns Mike into the cage.
Maximus drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mike sprawls and moves away.
Mike scores with a hook to the body. Maximus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mike throws a head kick but Maximus moves out of range.
Mike throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maximus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mike is fending him off so far but Maximus persists. Nope, Mike circles away and we're back to standing.

Maximus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mike on his heels. He'll look to pass Mike's guard now, I'm sure.

Mike jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maximus walks away with a smile on his face. Mike gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mike is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maximus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mysterious Mike dominated that round.
That's time! Maximus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brutas Maximus will probably get the nod.

Maximus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mike's waist but Mike gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maximus off to one side.

Mike lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Mike avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Maximus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mike throws a right and a left that both miss.
Maximus defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mike.
Maximus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mike as he avoids it easily.

Brutas Maximus showed his dominance in that final round.
