Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tikka Masala (ranked 3098 p4p, 5886 weight class) and Sen Pai (ranked 382 p4p, 580 weight class). Sen Pai has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tikka Masala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sen Pai!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masala fails with a takedown attempt.
Pai displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Tikka Masala has been cut.
Masala takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pai fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Masala on the side of the head.
Pai lands with a good body shot.
Pai throws a combination that misses
and Masala counters by moving into the clinch.
Pai can't break the clinch.
Pai throws a punch but it's blocked by Masala.
Masala blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pai tries to work over Masala's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Masala blocks an uppercut.
Masala has Pai pressed against the cage, preventing Pai from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Pai gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Masala.
Pai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Masala blocks an uppercut.
Pai is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tikka Masala. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pai throws a head punch that misses.
Masala tries to pull guard but Pai forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Masala tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pai smiles and moves away.
Sen Pai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pai lands a two punch combo.
Pai swings for the body but Masala moves out of range.
Pai throws a series of punches but Masala avoids them all with ease.
Pai lands a left and a right that send Masala crashing to the mat, dazed. Pai thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Masala fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pai avoids it really well and circles away.
Pai misses with a double jab.
Pai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Masala.
Sen Pai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheers as Pai lands an impressive looking overhand right. Masala doesn't seem phased though.
Pai lands with a nice combination. Masala backs away looking to recover.
Masala is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Masala walks straight into a right hand from Pai - that's dropped him! Pai jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Masala from any more punishment! Masala complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sen Pai!
