Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yamaoka Yukinobu!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yukinobu lands a nice looking body kick.
Yukinobu pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Yukinobu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Heimo. Yukinobu does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Yukinobu counters with a slapping leg kick.

Yukinobu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heimo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yukinobu has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Heimo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yukinobu.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Heimo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yukinobu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yukinobu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Heimo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Heimo is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Scrap Squad that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
