Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Beau Scriven (ranked 2552 p4p, 2502 weight class) and Jamal Lloyd (ranked 253 p4p, 248 weight class). Lloyd has chosen Woke up this Morning- Alabama 3 as his entrance music. Beau Scriven could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jamal Lloyd's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beau Scriven!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamal Lloyd!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Beau Scriven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick lands for Scriven.
Lloyd checks a low kick from Scriven.
Scriven throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Jamal Lloyd has been cut.
Lloyd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scriven paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Scriven throws a body shot but no joy.
Scriven tries to land a front kick but Lloyd steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Scriven really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lloyd gets caught napping as Scriven dives in and scores a takedown. Lloyd manages to retain guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scriven lands a couple of digs.
Scriven chips away with some ground and pound.
Lloyd is looking to stand up but Scriven isn't so interested in that idea.
Scriven throwing strikes but missing.
Lloyd avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scriven lands a couple of elbows.
Scriven connects with a couple of short punches.
Lloyd had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Scriven defends it easily.
Lloyd looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Scriven throws a big right hand that misses.
Lloyd working a defensive guard here.
Scriven throws a strike but Lloyd rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lloyd won't allow Scriven to get back to his feet.
Lloyd gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Lloyd has Scriven up against the cage in a clinch.
Scriven is trying to push Lloyd away but Lloyd has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A left hand lands to the body for Lloyd.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scriven pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scriven throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Scriven fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lloyd checks it well.
Scriven tries a low kick but Lloyd avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Lloyd on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lloyd tries to clinch but Scriven is having none of it.
Lloyd avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A nice side step and Lloyd releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Scriven throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scriven misses with a series of wild punches.
Scriven is breathing heavily.
Lloyd tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Scriven tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lloyd is able to avoid easily.
Scriven misses the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lloyd! But no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lloyd thuds his right hand into Scriven's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Scriven misses with a two punch combination.
Lloyd fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Scriven, pushing him back against the cage.
Lloyd throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Lloyd lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Scriven is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Scriven's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Scriven manages to break the clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Scriven.
Lloyd keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scriven.
Scriven shoots in for a takedown but Lloyd shows good takedown defense.
Scriven lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lloyd circles away quickly and effectively.
Scriven misses with a body punch
and Lloyd counters with a nice right hand that sends Scriven toppling to the canvas! Scriven scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lloyd finish him?!
Scriven is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scriven glances at the clock... BAM! Lloyd nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Scriven crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Scriven is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jamal Lloyd!
Jamal Lloyd is the new featherweight champion!
Jamal Lloyd decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
