Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Luciano (ranked 995 p4p, 1309 weight class) and Rory Wexler (ranked 130 p4p, 177 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Luciano.
Wexler connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wexler moves out of range of the strikes.
Wexler tries to clinch
and Luciano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wexler throws a hook to the side of Luciano's head but Luciano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Luciano lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rory Wexler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wexler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Luciano connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wexler misses with a shot to the body
and Luciano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Luciano bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wexler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Luciano was well out of range. Poor timing from Wexler.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wexler. Luciano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Luciano was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Wexler throws a hook to the side of Luciano's head but Luciano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Luciano swats away the attempt to clinch by Wexler.

Wexler tries to clinch but Luciano is having none of it.
Wexler throws a poor cross that misses
and Luciano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Wexler moves forwards but Luciano connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Luciano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wexler wants to clinch but Luciano slips to the side
and Luciano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Luciano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wexler throws out the jab.
Wexler throws a lazy right hand but Luciano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Luciano connects with a body shot.

Wexler misses with a lunging right hand
and Luciano counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wexler, as that shot connected.

Wexler misses with a hook
and Luciano counters with a stiff right hand.
Luciano throws a leg kick which misses Wexler's front leg but catches the back leg as Wexler tries to avoid it.
Luciano connects with an inside leg kick.
Luciano is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
A punch lands to the side of Luciano 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Wexler closes the distance looking to clinch
and Luciano counters with a two punch combo.

Wexler is rocked!
Luciano is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Luciano feints and then cracks Wexler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wexler down.
Wexler is still on wobbly legs! Can Luciano finish him?
Luciano drops Wexler with a big left hand! Wexler is injured, injured bad! Luciano jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ricky Luciano spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
