Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Dracovic (ranked 4157 p4p, 5307 weight class) and Thiago Silva (ranked 476 p4p, 541 weight class). Dracovic comes to the cage accompanied by The End of the World but with the USSR National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Dracovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thiago Silva!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Dracovic finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Dracovic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Silva on the side of the head.

It looks like Thiago Silva has been cut.
The fighters circling - Dracovic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Silva wants to clinch.
Dracovic tries to counter by clinching up but Silva breaks away and moves out of range.
Silva avoids the head kick by Dracovic.
Dracovic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dracovic pushes Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva is trying to pull guard but Dracovic has him pressed against the cage.
Dracovic on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Dracovic as Silva tries to tie him up.

Dracovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dracovic ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Silva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dracovic, who protects the arm well.
Dracovic is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Silva asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Silva slows the pace down.
Dracovic looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Dracovic tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dracovic swinging wildly here.

Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dracovic on his heels. He'll look to pass Dracovic's guard now, I'm sure.
Dracovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dracovic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Silva is working Dracovic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Dracovic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Silva throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dracovic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silva is in Dracovic's guard.

Dracovic has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Silva is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Dracovic is breathing heavily.

Silva tries to pull guard but Dracovic forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dracovic is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Igor Dracovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Silva.

Dracovic breaks from the clinch.
Dracovic throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Silva walks into a left hand.

Silva is rocked!
Dracovic connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Silva covering up! Dracovic comes in with a big uppercut and Silva goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
