Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luck Chiddell (ranked 767 p4p, 4876 weight class) and Bate Pepo (ranked 121 p4p, 550 weight class). Bate Pepo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luck Chiddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bate Pepo!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiddell moves out of range as Pepo strikes.

I was talking to Chiddell's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Oh Chiddell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chiddell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pepo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Chiddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luck Chiddell will probably get the nod.

Pepo plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Chiddell to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Chiddell just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
