The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepchild digs a good body shot into Rui's ribs.
A nice combination there by Stepchild.

It looks like Ichigo Rui has been cut.
Stepchild lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rui at a distance.
Stepchild circles away from the clinch attempt
and Stepchild counters with a right hand to the body.
Rui closes the distance and clinches up with Stepchild, looking for a takedown. Rui pushes Stepchild against the cage but Stepchild circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stepchild lands a big uppercut and Rui crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rui looks OK. Stepchild waves Rui back to his feet!
