Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cyber Bully!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bully moves away from the strike by Rivers.
Rivers misses with a straight left.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bully has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bully attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bully with a hook.
Good work by Rivers as he checks the leg kick.
Bully throws the left hand but Rivers avoids the punch easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A nice left hand lands by Rivers.

Rivers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch but Bully swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Rivers counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivers scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bully in his tracks.

Bully takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rivers moves out of range of the leg kick from Bully.
Rivers ducks under a wild hook from Bully.

and Rivers counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bully defending well as Rivers loads up on a big left hand.
Rivers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Bully tries a head kick but it misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Rivers misses its target.

and Rivers counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bully stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rivers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

letting Rivers counter with a right hand.
Rivers throws a sloppy head kick and Bully moves out of range easily.

A combination from Bully does no damage.
Bully catches Rivers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rivers tries to land a front kick but Bully steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bully looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Rivers lands a jab to Bully's midsection.
Rivers uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bully.
Rivers tried to counter with a leg kick but Bully avoided it.

Bully throws a hook but Rivers blocks it.
Bully takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The fighters circling - Bully throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Rivers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bully throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rivers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A low kick from Bully is predictable there
and Bully takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rivers thows a leg kick but Bully checks it

and Bully decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rivers's guard.
Bully wants to control from the top but Rivers keeps moving.
Bully with a nice head shot there.
Rivers has his hands on Bully's head, controlling the position.
Bully is working Rivers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Bully in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bully wants to pass the guard but Rivers is keeping the position.

Rivers looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bully is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rivers is trying to control the position but Bully postures up.
Rivers tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bully missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Rivers will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rivers is looking to stand up but Bully isn't so interested in that idea.

Rivers is trying to keep Bully in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bully trying to control the position from guard on top but Rivers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Rivers avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rivers looks for the body kick but Bully saw that one coming.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bully throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rivers.
Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bully swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Good shot there by Bully.
Rivers looks to score with a jab to the body but Bully is just out of range.
Bully takes a swing at Rivers's ribcage but misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Bully checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Rivers thuds a left hand into Bully's body.
Bully dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rivers. That did some damage!

Rivers throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bully takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bully looks to land a left hand but Rivers moved out of range nicely.

Bully throws out a counter right but Rivers avoids it with no problem.

Bully takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Bully swings widly with a right hand
and Rivers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bully lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bully pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rivers gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bully throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivers sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bully throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rivers swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Rivers scores with a jab. Bully acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bully throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Rivers throws a hook to the side of Bully's head but Bully sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rivers bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Bully dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Rivers counters with a good low kick that Bully was not able to check.
Nice shot lands for Rivers.

Rivers avoids the body shot from Bully.
A quick step to the side and Rivers tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bully throws a jab when Rivers was well out of range.

Bully drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bully throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rivers works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rivers is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rivers controls from within his opponent's guard.

Cyber Bully has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rivers throws a strike but Bully rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bully trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bully working some strikes from top position.
Bully stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rivers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tom Rivers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Rivers pulls Bully in to control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rivers pulls Bully in to control the position.
Rivers is trying to hold Bully in close to prevent damage but Bully has managed to pass into half guard.

Bully is trying to work for a kimura but Rivers is defending well.
Rivers is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rivers trying to control but Bully postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Cyber Bully.
I think Rivers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
