Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Genesio Mazzotta (ranked 4899 p4p, 6889 weight class) and Kurt Hurting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurt Hurting is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hurting pushes Mazzotta up against the cage in a clinch.

Mazzotta throws the left hand but Hurting avoids the punch easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hurting accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hurting looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mazzotta is fending him off so far but Hurting persists. Nope, Mazzotta circles away and we're back to standing.

Hurting unleashes a big counter combination but Mazzotta bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Hurting is trying to drag Mazzotta to the mat but Mazzotta just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Genesio Mazzotta will probably get the nod.

Hurting is staying tight to Mazzotta's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Mazzotta tries to control but Hurting manages to take his back.
I would not like to be Mazzotta right now.
You can see the frustration on Mazzotta's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
