The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victor fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Goncalves is looking to chop away at Victor's legs.
Victor dives in and grabs Goncalves's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goncalves pushes down on Victor's head and hops out.
Victor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goncalves.
We've been told by Goncalves's head coaches at Arcalimon Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Victor throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Victor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goncalves circles away.

Victor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Goncalves moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Goncalves swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Victor explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
