Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cruise defends well and McGee ends up having to push Cruise into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cruise scores with a one two! McGee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
McGee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cruise was well out of range. Poor timing from McGee.
Cruise went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
McGee slips a jab and a cross from Cruise.
McGee is looking to clinch.

Cruise sets himself, and McGee steps forward looking for the clinch! Cruise avoids it this time.
Cruise throws a hook to the side of McGee's head but McGee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Despite the aggression on McGee's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

and Cruise counters with a nice uppercut.
McGee walks into a stiff left hand from Cruise.

Cruise looks to land a combination but McGee avoids it well.
McGee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cruise misses with a few strikes there.
McGee tries to counter by closing the distance.

McGee shoots in and bounces Cruise off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McGee prevents Cruise from getting back to his feet.

Cruise on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cruise tries to get out of the position.

McGee tries to clinch but Cruise is having none of it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Cruise darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Cruise counters with a three punch combo that has McGee backing up. McGee nods at Cruise to acknowledge the strikes.

Cruise throws a nice looking combination but McGee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
