The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Roberts.
Satonaka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Roberts dives in and grabs Satonaka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Satonaka pushes down on Roberts's head and hops out.
Satonaka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Satonaka works over Roberts's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Alligator Roberts has been cut.

Roberts forces Satonaka back against the cage and clinches.
Roberts goes for a takedown attempt but Satonaka pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Satonaka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Satonaka scores with a jab. Roberts acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Satonaka is trying to break the clinch but Roberts is controlling him.

Satonaka has momentary wrist control but Roberts slips an elbow through the middle.

Roberts postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Satonaka in real trouble here! The ref calls for Satonaka to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
