Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between sam bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Chu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. bo sprawls well initially but Chu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
bo is staying active underneath Chu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Chu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control bo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

bo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chu looking for a sweep. Not yet Chu, not yet.
Chu wants to get back to his feet but bo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
bo wants to control from the top but Chu keeps moving.
Chu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

bo drops back looking for a leg! Chu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chu manages to kick bo off! bo jumps back into Chu's guard.
Chu wants to hit a switch here but bo passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Chu there!

bo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chu has managed to escape the submission attempt.

bo throwing strikes here but Chu is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Chu wants to control but bo is having none of it.
Chu is squirming around, avoiding bo's attempts to control the action.

Chu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with bo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chu throws a head kick but bo moves out of range.

An elbow from bo crashes against the mat.
Chu can't do much from the bottom here.
Chu is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

bo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no bo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

bo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Chu is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Chu gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Chu is looking to escape.
Chu is looking to control bo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chu avoid being mounted?
bo is trying to control. Chu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

bo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chu defends it well.

bo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. bo is working away from the top position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Chu has closed the distance and engaged bo in a clinch.

Chu is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. bo can't fight it off and eventually Chu manages to take the fight to the floor. bo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chu is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but bo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chu is looking to defend but bo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chu! bo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chu taps out and this one is all over!
