The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kallaste is trying to push Welch away but Welch has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Kallaste stops a takedown attempt from Welch.

Kallaste is fighting to break Welch's control of his arms but Welch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kallaste really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Welch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Welch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kallaste doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kallaste manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kallaste is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Welch has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kallaste is looking to defend but Welch has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kallaste! Welch pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kallaste taps out and this one is all over!
