Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Span fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Barr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Span moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Span throws a series of punches but Barr moves out of range.
Barr tries to counter by clinching up but Span breaks away and moves out of range.

Span moves into the clinch successfully.

Barr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barr takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Span looks to land a combination but Barr avoids it well.
Barr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Span takes one to the chin there.
Barr swings for the body but Span moves out of range.
Barr fails with a takedown attempt.
Span is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Barr with a body shot.
Barr scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Span throws a shot from downtown. Barr moves away and avoids it.

Barr throws a body shot but no joy.
A jab from Span misses.
Barr is looking to counter punch.
Barr works over Span's head and body with a nice combination.
Barr cracks Span with a right hand to the side of the head.
Span throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Span jabs Barr to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Barr tests Span's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Barr cracks Span with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barr.
Span changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Span has had enough of the clinch but Barr keeps him there for the moment.

Barr lands a hook that snaps the head of Span backwards.

Barr lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Barr scores with a shot to the side of Span's head.
Span is trying to break the clinch but Barr is controlling him.

Barr is trying to drag Span to the mat but Span just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Span takes a shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barr has Span pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Span manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Span wants to break the clinch but can't.

Span throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barr throws a half hearted mid kick.

Barr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Barr lands a head shot.
Span tries to move into range but Barr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Span gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Span throws a right and a left that Barr avoids nicely.
Barr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Span fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Barr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Span.
Barr misses with an uppercut.
Span throws a half hearted mid kick.
Barr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Barr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lido Barr has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Still in the clinch, Barr scores with a nice short uppercut.
Barr lands a left hand.

Span is rocked!
Barr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Spans head.
Span is still on wobbly legs! Can Barr finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Barr creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Barr throws a big uppercut that drops Span! More strikes from Barr and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Span lies dazed against the cage as Barr celebrates with his cornermen!
