Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ser Gregor Clegane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tim Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson cracks Clegane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Nelson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Clegane is trying to improve his position.
Nelson staying calm.
Clegane is looking for a sweep.
Nelson wants to control but Clegane is keeping him busy.
Nelson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Clegane haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clegane prevents Nelson from improving position.
Nelson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clegane keeps working.

Nelson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Nelson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Clegane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nelson but great work by Clegane.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nelson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Nelson wants to improve his position but Clegane is controlling well.
Nelson is staying active underneath Clegane, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Clegane is thwarting Nelson's attempts to control the position.
Clegane thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Nelson is looking for a sweep. Clegane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Clegane wants to stand up but Nelson has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Nelson tries to clinch there but Clegane circles away.
Nelson just misses with a punch to the body.
Nelson blocks the body kick.
Clegane is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Clegane misses with the combination.
Nelson throws out a counter right but Clegane avoids it with no problem.
Clegane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nelson as he jumps to the side.
A countering left hand to the body from Nelson misses.
Nelson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clegane moves away.
Clegane tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Nelson manages to circle out of the way.
Nelson takes a swing at Clegane's ribcage but misses.
Nelson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clegane doesn't seem bothered though.
Clegane closes the distance and clinches up with Nelson, looking for a takedown. Clegane pushes Nelson against the cage but Nelson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Clegane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nelson as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ser Gregor Clegane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nelson throws a lazy uppercut

and Clegane counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Clegane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Clegane slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tim Nelson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Nelson has Clegane pressed against the cage, preventing Clegane from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Clegane tries to score a body lock takedown but Nelson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Nelson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Clegane is trying to trip Nelson. He has hold of a leg but Nelson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Clegane persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Clegane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nelson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Nelson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clegane manages to get himself to full guard.

Clegane wants to sweep but no luck.
Clegane is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Clegane looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Clegane pulls Nelson in close to prevent any damage.

Clegane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Nelson wants to pass the guard but Clegane is keeping the position.
Nelson wants to control from the top but Clegane keeps moving.

Nelson sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Clegane doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Nelson paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Clegane - great work!
